Problem

ACP connects editors, but mature integrations also expose live diffs, diagnostics, approvals, plans, subagent state, cost, and history as structured UI instead of terminal text.

Proposed outcome

Extend the editor adapter with stable capabilities for workspace diffs, approval requests, progress, agent trees, context/cost telemetry, and reconnectable history. Keep the daemon and event log as the source of truth.

Acceptance criteria

Reconnection rebuilds the complete view from a session offset.
Approval requests identify the exact action and proposed effect.
Diffs clearly refer to the isolated workspace.
Unknown client capabilities degrade cleanly.
An end-to-end fixture covers disconnect and replay.
